The homeowner desired a front porch on this home.  I designed this porch with a barrel style ceiling so as to not take away from the entrance way arch detail.  I provided the homeowner with my drawing on top of a picture of their actual home which made it easier for them to envision my design ideas.  I also provided them with some images of homes with similar porches.  They showed my drawing to their contractor who was able to build the porch based on my design.  They were also able to use my design drawing to get approval from their community Home Owner's Association.  This saved them a great deal of money in not having to hire an architect.
